Terms of Service
Last updated 1 May 2026
About these terms
These terms govern your use of StayBooker. By creating an account or booking a stay you agree to them.
Bookings are a contract between the guest and the host. We provide the booking and payment infrastructure but are not a party to the stay itself.
Host accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to let the property you list. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, complying with local short-let rules, and meeting your tax and insurance obligations.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Cancel anytime — your booking page pauses at the end of the current period and your data is kept for 90 days in case you return.
Free trials last 14 days, no card required up front. After the trial you must pick a plan to keep accepting bookings.
Guest bookings
When you book through a host's page you contract directly with that host. Their cancellation policy (shown on the booking page) applies.
Refunds for cancellations are issued automatically via Stripe according to the host's policy. If the host cancels your stay you'll be refunded in full.
Acceptable use
Don't use the platform to list illegal accommodation, mislead guests, scrape data, or bypass payments. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Liability
StayBooker is not liable for the condition of any property, the conduct of guests or hosts, or losses arising from a stay. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll let you know by email or in-app notice if changes are material.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
